The PFR 6S / PFR 12S are a new series of state-of-the-art power factor regulators designed for easy and effective regulation. The regulator monitors the power system status and makes accurate and rapid decisions regarding the connection or disconnection of compensation stages to achieve the predetermined target cos phi.

The regulator's microprocessor records the system voltage and current consumption throughout the entire operation via the device's transformer inputs and uses these data to calculate the relationship between active and reactive power in the power system. The regulator uses the FFT algorithm to calculate the fundamental harmonic factor of the active and reactive currents, ensuring precise measurement and control even when the current waveform is distorted by higher harmonic components.
