These capacitors are designed to operate in extremely harsh environments where very high overload levels (voltage, current (harmonics), and temperature) can be expected. They provide an ideal solution for so-called harmonic PFC capacitor banks, equipped with reactors, installed in the aforementioned heavy-duty operations. Ultra Heavy Duty capacitors offer long-term durability, resistance to overvoltage and overcurrent, as well as high temperatures. The declared values ​​significantly exceed the requirements of IEC 60831.
The capacitor casing is protected against explosion by an overpressure isolator – a 3-phase separation.
